Plant Lamp

Case study

As the winner of a design competition for Ikea in Finland, this concept lamp was selected for production. It combines a hang planter and a light. The branches and leaves of the plant hanging over the shade. The shadows created by the leaves give the light an organic sense, something artificial light lacks. Because of its dual use, the lamp is invisible when it is not in use.
